How much water can a water cat drink? Lots. Inky drinks half a litre a day. Now I know health nuts insist on two but Inky is only little. And sometimes she drinks so much she wakes me at night and then throws up. So nana Sherlock and Mummy Beth take her off to the vet for a diabetes test. But nooooo not that simple my find blog friends. A shaved leg and throat later (and a bit of leaching) and the diagnosis comes back - all clear.
Now a while back mum told me that Dr Harry said the cats separated too young from their mummies always end up with 'issues' . i scoffed. Inky is perfection - but alas, poor Inky has a mental illness. She has feline OCD. She drinks 'cus she is bonkers.
As a consequence if Inky does not get to drink lots of water she will cark it within 24 hours. She has kind of induced her own kidney disfunction. Lucky she is a house cat eh? Now must dash, have to change her sodden litter...again.
